Our elementary school is home to our students. Our school is nestled in a small rural community, and many of us know each other and our friends and family.
We are a family and a small community and we all help each other.
Students are helpful, and they love to learn at our school. Our school children can count on the administration, counselors, teachers, and staff during any hours of the day. These students complement each other, and they have a love for learning.
My Project
As the guidance counselor, I am always looking for good resources to talk to the students about the topics that they need answers for. Most of the time, I can find great help in a book. The students and I can read and do activities together individually, as a small group, or a large class.
Books are an awesome way to help teach any subject!
Students often drop in my classroom needing some advice and I always try to make them smile or help them with their situations. Books are usually my first resource because they can help the students relate to their issues in a more realistic way.
These books will help stock the guidance classroom with more resources for the students.
