My Students

My students are always eager to learn something new. I love that about them. They raise their hands and are always answering every question they can. I have 22 students of very diverse backgrounds and they all mesh perfectly. We sing songs together, we read together and we learn and play together.

I am so proud of them and want to provide them with the best learning environment possible.

My Project

Picture this... kindergarten students scattered throughout the class sitting on soft seating with a lap desk in front of them and new learning materials and smiles on their faces. This is what I envision when I propose this project. I teach at a Title I school and many of the students don't have much. Many of the materials in the class are donated or purchased by myself or donated from other teachers. I would love my students to come into school and see a new "center" with these supplies.

I know the floor seats and reading skills cards and pens will be a hit and will encourage all of my students to practice learning their vowels, consonants, reading... and have fun doing so.

The laptop stand will help me engage with the students by standing and clicking through slides and I give the Phonics and Reading lessons. Please help me by funding this dream. They will have so much fun it won't feel like learning!! Thanks so much!!
