Most of my students are reading below grade level. I am to help them build their reading fluency and comprehension. My goal is to encourage daily reading inside of the classroom and at home.
Every student is special and I want to encourage the learning to be the reward in and of itself by making it an pleasant expernience, instead of a chore.
I want to thank you so much for helping to make the reading lounge expereince a dream come true for me. I started this library a while ago and purchased most of the books from my own paycheck as many of us do. I have books near and below grade-level for them.
These final touches with the beanbag chair and bookshelf will help me to complete the reading space in our classroom and help make it a memorable and successful school year for my students.
