Second grade is such a lovely year. There is so much reading growth that occurs during the year. Even though there is growth, there are still students that are behind grade level. Dogman books are not only silly and provide high-interest reading material for students, they bridge the gap between different reading levels.
Dogman books are joyful for all types of readers in second grade.
Students care and share their reading and comprehension with each other, even if they are struggling to comprehend the phonics of reading. My students deeply enjoy reading about Dogman's adventures. Thank you for making reading fun!
