"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." -Ted Geisel
Diversity is important for my students' growing and learning about the importance of contrasting experiences within our society.
During this exceptional circumstance of social distancing and virtual learning, I had to become more creative in order to reach and teach my students. This has been a unique year for my students. Many of them lacked the technology, and it was extremely difficult to provide them with the necessary lessons and activities. I want to bring their world of curiosity to fruition.
My Project
Throughout this unusual season of distance learning, my ESL students missed out on valuable elements to acquire the English language and build fluency. With these materials, I will be capable of assisting my students in developing strategies to increase their skills.
The fluency bank cards and ELA skills center can help me to create engaging lessons via videos to help develop their language acquisition.
It's crucial that I implement valuable lessons that will be conducive to my ESL students' learning growth. These materials will give my students the potential to become successful readers.
