This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are incredible learners. They are so excited and happy to learn. They are curious to learn about everything around them. They ask questions, and are never satisfied with the simplest answers. When they started third grade, it was hard to get them to read. Now they ask me for more books every day. They want to read everything from Dogman, to Harry Potter, to I Survived, to science and history books. These books would give them more opportunities to explore the world around them with subjects that interest them. As they read, they will begin to understand that reading truly has the power to change their lives. Each book will help every student learn more about the world and people around them. They will answer questions, as well as teach them to ask more questions. They will help them become more loving and powerful individuals.
