This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will allow my students to have options during our Empowered Reading in class. For 15 minutes a day, students strengthen their reading skills by selecting a book and reading it during this time.

I am a first year high school teacher and currently have no physical copies of reading books in my classroom.

I want to build a small classroom library for students to have options during reading time.

I have been provided an awesome reading website for them to read online but having physical books in the classroom for them would also be great!
