This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a speech-language pathologist, it is my honor to help students communicate to the best of their ability and give them the strategies necessary to access language in texts. Providing them with Scholastic Magazines will expose them to engaging and relevant grade-level texts that are differentiated to their needs, and that also contain vocabulary they can use across all contexts. From what I have seen, my students love reading Scholastic magazines, and I look forward to providing them with reading materials they are excited about to help further advance and support their academic needs!
