This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a second-grade teacher, I hope to instill in my students a love of reading. One way that I work towards this is by reading aloud to my students each day. This is truly my favorite part of our day.
Every year, my students become enthralled while listening to The Magic Tree House series.
This year, I thought it would be so exciting for them to get a book from the series that they could keep at home and share with their families. I try to provide students with books that they can add to their at-home libraries in order to keep them reading throughout their day.
