Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The literacy items will not only provide small group support in areas that need to be targeted for our students but they will also provide fun engaging activities. These activities will be used in small group and center based for our students to put to use what they are they are learning during the crucial fundamental time in kindergarten. The materials that are included in this project are materials to help and engage students in phonic activities such as working on beginning sounds, phonemic awareness, word mapping, etc.
Learning to read can be fun it doesn’t have to be or feel like another task.
We want to set up our students for success and these small group and center based activities will help them put what they are learning to use and practice on their own.
