My Project
These books I am requesting will help to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to maintain for my students. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy going to during choice time. They pick out the book they love and will do picture walks with them, read to their friends or will ask me to sit and read to them . All of these books have been chosen will help enhance the children's learning about bread and baking. The bread maker I am requesting will help put the children's learning into real life practice!
How amazing will it be for my students to learn about bread ; then to actually bake bread and eat what they made!
They will also be able to choose books that interest them as I have selected some interactive books ! The best way to increase reading ability is to read more and make reading an enjoyable, welcoming experience. My students already have shown an interest in reading and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
