Help me give my students hardcover literature books in my classroom library so that I may provide students a checkout system and have books easily accessible into their homes.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in an ETK (Expanded Transitional Kindergarten) Preschool program which is a full-day program for 24 students. My enthusiastic PreK learners come to school ready to learn, build language, and explore. It is a program that introduces preschool age students (ages 4-5) to a public school setting. I teach at a Title I school in a small suburb outside of a major city. The majority of my students are Hispanic, and many come from low-income families.
Most of my students either have not attended any preschool program or only attended a 2-3 hour a day program.
The ETK program allows parents who work to have a quality preschool program for six hours each day with a credentialed teacher. We offer free breakfast and lunch to all students. Many students have siblings at our school so it makes it easy for parents to drop off and pick up children.
My Project
Books help build a child's imagination. My preschoolers love to read but many of my books have been used by many little hands and are not in good condition.
My classroom library is in need of current hardcover literature books.
I need newer books in my classroom library so that I may provide students a checkout system and have quality books easily accessible into their homes.
Having books easily available for my kids to check out will help promote the love of reading. Reading starts in preschool so I feel it is vital to provide current, meaningful literature where my students can easily access these books.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
