This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These resources will help me create fun and engaging reading centers for my third grade students. They cover all levels, from the third grade reader, all the way to the new English learning student. Games and activities are the quickest way to teach and solidify explicit reading skills in a fun way. We want kids to think reading is fun so they want to learn more.

My students run the full range of levels on reading skills, but in the state of Indiana they have to pass the third grade reading test to move onto fourth grade.

More than ever, we have to get these kids reading! And we need to show them that reading can be fun.

The stools, and magnetic paddles will create a fun and engaging reading corner where we can use our hand2min reading rods, junior learning decoding flashcards, and lakeshore vocabulary skills activity center.
