This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Starting the new year I would like to have students hear more audio books on their iPads. I will need more chargers for the iPads and I will need wipes to keep the iPads and the cases clean. The students touch them with their hands and we need to help keep the area and the devices clean. Once we hear a story, I would like to make a timeline on the board and talk about the story with the students. We will need markers, and different colors to write on the white board and to discuss the notes we brainstorm from the story. My students are in pre-school and they seem to really like Elsa and Anna and the Disney story, Frozen. They also like the music and songs from the movie. We can sing along as we listen and discuss what they have read and heard from the story. This will encourage them to continue to read as they move on to Kindergarten and as they get older.
