This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students should receive books that are interesting to them. With this project, our hope is to boost student reading engagement by choosing some books that they have shown interest in.
We want students to fall in love with reading by providing books that will hook them in and inspire further reading.
Students love learning about different topics especially mythology, so I want students to have a space in the classroom where they can really dive into these books.
After leaving the fourth grade, we want students to continue pursuing their love for reading, so I want to create a library that allows them to expand their interest in different genres, authors, and topics.
