My Project

Playing reading games give students an opportunity to practice their phonics, fluency, and comprehension skills. Students love to buddy up with a partner during reading centers. What better way to practice important reading skills than to play games! Not only are they reading, but they are learning important social skills while interacting with their reading buddy.

My students are noticeably more engaged and less disruptive of their peers when they are playing and learning through reading games .

The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them necessary practice with sight words, phonics, fluency, and comprehension. This practice is done through fun interactive games that students are able to play either individually, or with partners. Making reading fun is a way to instill a love of reading that can last a lifetime!

I have seen making how creating a fun learning environment can affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional reading games will help instill the love of reading!
