This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our rockets are amazing students. They are eager to come into the classroom to learn, read, and most importantly to have a fun learning experience. I have a wonderful study unit planned for this book and the reading incentives will be the cherry on the top! I know my students will have an amazing time reading this book.
I believe that the reading incentives will motivate my students to read even beyond our assigned reading time.
I am sure my students will love to receive cool stickers to put on their folders to show how much they love to read. Perhaps they will use reading as a therapy to relieve anxiety or stress, while also using the squeeze balls to help them get through the day.
This project will not only fund a class book set of this amazing book, but it will also become a motivating experience to receive incentives and motivators along the way.
