My Students

My fourth-grade students are terrific boys and girls. They are eager to learn new things every day. They are respectful and polite and truly enjoy reading.

My fourth graders come from diverse backgrounds and share their cultures with each other.

During ELA time, my students like to read independently as well as in partnerships. They work together beautifully and help each other when necessary. As their teacher, I am proud to see how much they look forward to reading time every day!

My Project

My students love to read during our “Book Clubs”.

They love to gather together on the carpet to read and discuss their books together. They love to recommend their favorite books to their peers. My students need some new book titles to read with their reading partners. They enjoy reading and discussing books with each other. These books will give them the opportunity to read books at their "Just Right" levels. They will work together to read and discuss these books during our "Book Clubs."

The titles that we have selected are only a few that they enjoy reading and we will continue to add more to our library this year.
