Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is in Cudahy/Bell area. All students in my classroom love to learn. They work hard every day to explore, discover and learn.
Although the methods and environment in which they learn best differ from one another.
We incorporate various learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! Our school is proud to provide equity for all students.
My Project
I am requesting a wide variety of books that can further their knowledge and passion for learning. I would be able to utilize in school during language arts as a guided close reading for students. I will read with students and make lessons to teaching literacy standards to students. The books are chosen better fit my students' needs. They will also be able to choose books that interest them.
The best way for students to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
