This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third-grade students are curious, enthusiastic, and energetic kids! My students are clever and are eager to learn. The materials and books requested will take my teaching to the next level and help my third graders improve! My students would love a nice, organized, comfortable classroom filled with the materials, furniture, and books they need. This project will definitely be a life-changer for my students because they will see that the community cares about their education and well-being.
My Project
A classroom library will help me promote greater amounts of reading, increased reading frequency, and more diverse reading experiences among my students. It will also help my students attain greater levels of reading achievement. My thrilled third-grade students would love a reading corner in the classroom. It will give a platform where I can support and facilitate my students to make meaning while reading. It is important that children are introduced to a variety of books to read. And there cannot be a better starting point for my thrilled students to enhance their love of reading! Thank you.
