My Project
I teach kindergarten students in a public Montessori school which opened in 2018. I marvel at my students' love of learning. They are in the beginning stages of literacy and will benefit from educational materials that take them to the next step.
The books in this project will provide needed reading practice, as well as practice counting numbers, and identifying shapes.
Some of the books in this project also feature black/brown authors, illustrators, and characters for students who may not have experienced seeing someone like themselves as main characters.
Please help me give my students this exciting variety of books to support their efforts in becoming great readers and counters!
