My Project

My Students Need More Opportunities to Explore the World Through Reading.

Our students love to read—whether it's in the classroom or at home, they are always eager to dive into new books.

To build on this excitement, we want to offer them even more engaging reading materials that expose them to real-world topics, spark curiosity, and deepen their learning.

Classroom magazine subscriptions like *Scholastic News*, *SuperSTEM*, *Storyworks*, and *Time for Kids* are perfect for this purpose. These magazines provide age-appropriate, visually engaging articles that bring current events, science, and literature to life. They help students build background knowledge, improve reading comprehension, and develop critical thinking skills.

Last year, we were fortunate to receive a few of these subscriptions—and the impact was powerful. Students were more engaged in discussions, asked thoughtful questions, and were genuinely excited to learn about what was happening beyond the classroom walls.
