My Project

I love watching my students get engaged in a book in our classroom library. When they can sit together and read a book like The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly and laugh and talk about the story warms my heart. It is a joy to see how confident they are while reading books they enjoy.

I love seeing them grow into challenging books.

Watching them try and ask one another to help with a word is amazing. I love having books that teach them how to be kind to one another and how to be who they are.
