Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious and full of energy. They love to come to school daily and learn everything they possibly can. It is for this reason, that I want to create a welcoming library by adding a variety of multicultural books and books of their interest.This is their first school experience, and I want to make it one that they will cherish for years to come. Help me provide them with a variety of multicultural books, children's interest and class theme books.

Students love going to the library to look at books and travel to places that they only can only imagine.

By providing them with multicultural books they will learn about different cultures. They will also develop love for reading by having books that are of their interest. Additionally, they will also get to learn more with the use of science themed books related to what we are currently learning at school such as Rabbits, butterflies, plants and much more. Similarly they will also investigate the attributes of insects with the specimens requested. All of these materials will facilitate a fun learning environment.
