Help me give my students a weekly magazine for my ENL students' reading program.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Ramirez's classroom raised $256

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The weekly magazines in this ENL project will give my students current events and science articles to read during our ENL sessions.
"The world belongs to those who read." Rick Holland.
My students will read and respond about their world.
My ENL students have limited resources and come from low-income families. The weekly magazines will cover current events, science topics, social studies, and cultural events. Each student will get their own copy to read, complete activities, and then keep and share with their family. Students will be able to build their home libraries.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
