Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from diverse backgrounds, making them all unique and a true pleasure to teach. They bring excitement to the classroom and are eager to learn about subjects that connect to the real world.
For many of my students, this is their first year in school.
It's crucial that they have the materials they need to succeed and fully enjoy this foundational year of learning. I hope to inspire even our youngest learners to continue on the path of academic excellence.
I am seeking your support to purchase new books for my classroom. These include a variety of picture books, books that align with our units of study, and social-emotional books to support my students' growth. Integrating math and literacy is an essential part of our daily routine, and books play a vital role in that integration.
I want to provide my students with access to a wide range of books. Not only are books key to developing reading skills, but they also foster a lifelong love of reading.
