My Project
My job is to work with children in small groups in order to build their literacy skills. When children missed that the opportunity of in-person, small group instruction during COVID, the fell further behind.
Children that struggle in the subject of reading benefit from decodable, interesting literature.
The leveled lakeshore and bob book sets will significantly help me in that process. In addition, many of these sets me children will find very interesting. These books will be used in small group instruction and given as rewards during our family literacy nights.
This classroom project was brought to life by The State of Oklahoma.
