My students need books for our classroom library, including 2 sets of leveled books, plus 10 copies each of "A Lesson for Martin Luther King, Jr.." and "I Am Rosa Parks."
My students can use these books during independent reading time.
My students are deaf and hard of hearing students from all over Memphis.
We use sign language and speech to communicate in our classroom. Many of the children have a low vocabulary and need as much exposure to reading and language. I want to expose them to all different genres.
My Project
I am requesting various books for my classroom library so my kids can read during independent reading time. My students need exposure to all different genres of reading. Having a variety of books in our classroom library will help mold and shape their vocabulary and language.
Donating to my project will expose my students to various types of books.
This will increase their vocabulary and language. Thank you for considering my project as a possible donation!
