My Students
Can you imagine going to a reading class without books? We desperately need books for our classroom library!
My students are deaf and hard of hearing children from all over Memphis. Reading is the biggest struggle for deaf children and we need as many resources as we can get for them. We do not have textbooks that are appropriate for their varying reading levels.
My Project
Receiving this classroom library will allow each child to use their own book in class. This will allow all of them to utilize independent reading time and get them excited about reading. Please help us receive these resources we desperately need for reading class!
Trying to teach reading using only one book is so incredibly hard. Please allow my students to learn like others children with appropriate reading resources in school. They deserve it.
