My Students
I am a third grade teacher in Pennsylvania. My classroom is made up of 30 eager second graders. I also have a wide range of reading and math abilities in my classroom. I am the teacher with the IEP/ESL friendly classroom.
My reading levels range from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade.
It's important that I read with these children every day in order to get them on grade level by the end of the year. All my students get free or reduced-price lunch, and all these children love coming to school.
My Project
My students need materials to help them receive individualized attention in reading and writing. Many students have the determination to do well in school but need specialized instruction to help them succeed. This book will bring a school-home connection by allowing my students to get strategies for their particular needs. This book will help me get goals, objectives, as well as intervention strategies. With this book, I can bring clarity of expectations for what students are to learn, and what teachers can do to bring about the sustained literacy experiences students need to apply their learning. This would be a great help in my classroom.
