Reading Helps Your Mind Bloom

Help me give my students 20 brand new culturally diverse books for our classroom library, including books that show diversity through math, science, social studies, and social-emotional learning.

My Project

By adding these books to my classroom library, my students will be able to connect to the culturally diverse texts they are reading. All children should be able to relate to the books in their classroom. Students should see people of familiar race, ethnicity, religion, and family structure in the text and illustrations.

Having diverse books in our classroom helps make students feel seen, heard, understood, and loved.

These books also help encourage our students to read and foster a love for reading. We would love to add these new books to our classroom library!
