My Project
The books that I am requesting for my fifth grade English language arts classroom are so that my students have interesting chapter books to practice their oral reading and comprehension skills. Having books that students are not only interested in but are at their reading level is important to their success. The students in my classroom really enjoy having book study groups, however, I do not have many books with enough copies to do so. Having different options of books to choose from gives the students power in decision making.
