My Students
Our third grade class is made up of an amazing group of students including ESL, gifted, special needs, and dyslexic children. Our school is in a high poverty school district. Funds are often not available for extra materials needed in the classroom.
Many of our students are at-risk and receive free or reduced price lunches.
Often they come to school without the supplies needed for class. In spite of these hardships, they are eager to learn and absorb information like sponges.
Their futures are bright, and they work hard to learn the things they need to know in order to be successful. These students love coming to school and being with their peers. Every day they come into class ready to learn something new and excited!
My Project
We will use the ink to help print cards for station work and to print student work. Students love showing off their creativity. Flash cards and folder games are always needed for stations in our class. Students enjoy having colorful activities to keep them engaged in learning.
Reading stations are such an important time for students to practice previously taught skills.
These Reading Can Do games will help them to have fun while learning to master needed skills. Practice makes them improve their reading fluency as well as improving skills needed for their tests. We are in need of new and engaging activities.
