My Project
The students at our public schools live in rural areas with limited Wi-Fi connection and resources for these services. During COVID, many students lost parents, grandparents and friends due to this virus. The community and teachers did their best during this time period. Studies have shown that our students have lost valuable learning time and need the resources to recover. Being in high school is not easy and being behind is even worse. My special education students not only need kindness but a helping hand to up their reading level so that they may be able to go to college or find a job. Reading is so important and my students are eager to level up on their reading with these books and carpet.
