Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are mainly ESOL students. They have only been in this country for a very short time. I am new to school and my classroom is very dated and only has school desk. I am hoping to make the space more inviting for them next school year. My goal is to encourage reading in any way. Creating a reading corner will help motivate my students to pick up a book and begin the process of learning a new language. Some basic supplies are also needed for testing and organizing materials. The better organized, the more time for learning!
