Reading Corner

Help me give my students a spot to practice their reading skills! My students love to read, but are in need of a cozy place to sit and enjoy their books in the reading corner.

My Project

My classroom has a reading corner in which students get to practice their reading skills each day. My first graders love to be able to sit in the reading corner and select their own books, but do not currently have a comfy spot to sit while they read. By getting bean bag chairs for my students, they will be more motivated and excited to read in our classroom as they will get to do so in the chairs! Having the bean bag chairs will help improve reading outcomes in our classroom and will set students up for success for reading throughout their lives.
