My Students

We are in Chinese dual immersion program, and my students have studied Chinese for 4 years now. In our program, students spent 50% of time in English classroom and 50% of time in Chinese.

In our Chinese classroom, we study Chinese and science completely in Chinese.

We have a variety of activities to learn the language and content in class. In our class, we focus on improving reading, listening, speaking, and writing proficiency. We are excited to learn and grow every day!

My Project

I want to create a comfortable reading corner for students where they can pick a book they like and sit down on this portable seat to enjoy reading.

I hope students will enjoy reading and form good reading habits.

I have a bookshelf and some Chinese books, but we don't really have a reading corner so far. Students pick up a book they like and sit on their chair to read. I hope the portable seats will encourage students to read more books and enjoy the reading process because all the books are in Chinese, and it could be challenging for them!
