Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I serve 65 students in 2nd grade. My students are so eager and ready to learn. Every Wendsday my school district has dedicated small group day! It is fantastic but also challenging to keep up with students ability and interest.
This project refreshes the materials that we have access to use during our small group rotation including reading fluency, comprehension, and reading strategies to support students.
The materials I choose are mostly game based which I have found leads to high engagement and focus within the students. I am so grateful for your consideration and support.
