My students need a reading center makeover. The rug and 3 beanbag chairs will allow my students to read comfortably in the reading center while enjoying their books.
My class is full of students who love to read. They enjoy having free time to read after their work is finished. I love seeing my student's faces when they finish a book that they truly enjoyed.
I have 24 students in my 3rd grade class.
They love to interact and learn together on a daily basis. They like to introduce each other to the newest book series that they find in our library. They love reading together and discussing series of books.
My Project
My students will use the rug and beanbag chairs to have a cozy place to read and enjoy a good book. These materials will give them the option to read in a "home like" atmosphere instead of in their chair at their desk. I like giving them the opportunity to read around the room, so they can enjoy their books comfortably.
Donations for this project can get my students excited about reading.
Some of my students already love reading. For those that don't, maybe this will get them interested in the many books my classroom has to offer.
