This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to add high-interest books into our classroom library that go hand in hand with our reading curriculum.

I know these books such as fiction and nonfiction books on such subjects as the Statue of Liberty and the Titanic will help my students love reading as well as help them to better understand what we are learning in reading and social studies.

I have also chosen SEL titles for kindness and trying your best to be used at different times during the year. I know that my students will benefit from these titles as well.
