My Project
My kindergarten students are excited to learn to read, with the addition of materials that support the Science of Reading they will learn their letters and sounds using explicit phonics that is multisensory, systematic and learner driven. This knowledge will be used in all aspects of their learning throughout the day.
These materials will allow my students to create many different neural connections to the content being taught through stories, movement, visuals, sounds, experiences, and feeling.
As we know students learn in many different ways and presenting the Science of Reading through a variety of modalities will allow my students the best opportunities to retain the new information they are learning.
