Help me give my students the ability to read at grade level. I work with the struggling students in phonics, phonemic awareness, and reading. These items will help me accomplish that goal.
I work with K-6 grade student's and their teachers on Tier 1 language arts (reading, writing, phonics) and K-3 students and their teachers on Tier 1 and Tier 2 language arts (reading, writing, phonics). My aides and I work with almost 600 students for Tier 1 and Tier 2 language arts instruction every week.
We have had enormous growth at our school in the last year.
We also have a wide variety of socio-economic housing areas, from low income subsidized housing (which is very transient ) to low end higher end housing.
My Project
All of the students I work with daily have had their learning and academics affected by COVID-19. Many have missed a lot of school due not only to schools going to online but also due to quarantine and illness.
The items in my cart will help me work with the struggling students and close the gaps in their learning.
These items will help me work with the students on their phonics, phonemic awareness, and reading skills. These items will be used to work with K-3 and very low 4-5 students.
