I value my students very much. I believe they learn best with hands-on activities. Their attention span and excitement are more apparent when an engaging activity is involved. Supplies tend to only last for so long when I have over 75 students daily, the materials requested will be beneficial and used to their best extent and purpose.
When students are engaged in learning, they will enjoy academic curricula and instill higher-level thinking skills.
I look forward to incorporating STEAM activities that tie in with literature. We will also work on extracurricular activities with all of the materials. The extra classroom supplies will be used for interactive notebook activities and to hold our materials in the classroom, that way they'll be used wisely when needed.
