Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project contains various literacy journals to help enhance my students' skills. Phonics journals and interactive journals are great ways to help my children practice their skills. The English Language Development kit provides the opportunity to learn the different parts of the language and to grow as a reader and writer.
These journals have images to provide a visual for students that have special needs or maybe English Language Learners.
Learning to read is not only essential but also learning to write. I am excited to use the writing prompts with visuals to support my students in the writing process. The math journal in this project will be an excellent resource for my younger learners. It provides a systematic way to teach my students to both identify numbers as well as write them. I hope that these materials will help provide my students with an organized supplemental resource to enhance their skills.
