This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager learners ready to conquer spelling and reading. My students are all very unique and come from very different backgrounds but they all have one thing in common. They LOVE school!! The first week of school they were so excited for 1st grade and to meet their teacher and classmates. I want my students to have the best experience that first grade can offer. Most of my students were virtual last year so this is their first time in our building. As a first year teacher, I am eager to help my students find their passion for learning!
My Project
My students are so excited to practice their writing skills. Writing and reading is a huge focus in my class and my students are eager to receive these supplies so they can get started.
The clipboards will be used so my students can sit in different areas in my class room and brainstorm ideas.
We plan to use the whiteboard for daily Exit Tickets to check for understanding.
Each student will receive a writing folder and notebook that will help develop their writing skills. Folders will be filled with various writing resources.
