This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are wonderful and motivated. They are always so excited to learn new things. I have a class of English language learners who are learning the English language. They are loving and caring students who are motivated to learn each and every day. I would love to be given the opportunity to give them classroom supplies to keep them intrigued in learning. They are grateful for the smallest things. I want to provide my students with a great learning environment where they can learn each and every day.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because they will look forward to using games in their reading groups. Students will continue to learn how to write and read when using these instructional tools. My students struggle with writing and don't enjoy writing. If my students had stencils, they have the opportunity to draw and create a story. I want to motivate my students to write and become better at it. Having more writing activities to do with my students will give them reasons to want to write more. These activities, including comprehension games and sequencing cards, will be such a great addition to my centers.
