I teach 7th grade math and pre-algebra. I have classes of special education, 504 and regular education students.
My students love to learn math in different ways, and I think reading stories involving mathematical topics is a GREAT way to get a different perspective on something they have learned. I play the 24 game in my class but only have one set for my room. The kids LOVE it! They get so into it and I think the game I have included will really get them riled up for math this year! Thank you for considering my request!
I have included mathematical books with a language arts focus to them as well as the game '24'. The students really love to learn in different ways.
Your help will ensure that my students will see another way to learn math. It may make sense to them...it will empower them to be better students in the future!
