This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I supports grades 3-6 at a Title 1 Elementary school. Our students are behind in Reading and Math. These center materials will help their teachers differentiate instruction and fill the learning gaps of the students so that they can become more proficient and reach grade level learning goals. The year and a half of online learning during the COVID pandemic was hard for our students, many were unable to understand the instruction and get the hands on practice that they needed in order to succeed. These activities will allow them to explore some of the aspects of reading and math that they might not have learned online.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
