Reading and Cooking in French Class

My Project
Because of COVID my French students were not able to read French books in class nor were we able to do any cooking projects. Now we will have French readers written for French learners that make reading fun and help students acquire French and improve their fluency. With the griddle, toaster oven and other cooking materials we will be able to make the French classic Croque Monsieur. Students will boost their knowledge of classic French cuisine. Sharing a meal together in class is a great was to support a positive classroom atmosphere and strengthen Social Emotional Learning.
This classroom project was brought to life by Hawai'i State Department of Education.
