Do you remember what it was like to read for the first time? I just received the King School books and we have already used one book to help one of my students read. He was so proud of his "reading" that he asked if he could read it to the class. This was such a self-esteem booster that this child needed.
My students are part of a collaborative class which includes special and general education students.
My students come for a low economic area. Most of them do not have anyone who helps them at home with their school work and they depend on us to give them a quality education. They need to know that they can read and can do it well. We have some of the books in my classroom and would benefit if we had a class set so everyone could read these books together.
My Project
These books will help my students because the Kings School series have characters that my students can relate to. The students will be able to get to know these characters because the characters are multiple books. The pictures in the books are great because it grabs the attention of my beginning readers and will help them to use the pictures to figure out unknown words.
These books are so great and I cannot afford to buy them myself.
These books are really wonderful and could really help my children with their reading ability. The King School books will really build the confidence my children need to grow as readers.
